Mr Polyzois and all his team were truly amazing. Prior to my surgery Mr Polyzois explained the results of my MRI scan with great detail and ensured i understood what he was saying and what i was looking at (pictures of scan results). He explained what the next course of action was, ie surgery and then explained what would happen. Mr Polyzois put my mind completely at ease and was very reassuring and very very knowledgeable, answering all my questions without any hesitation or uncertainty. When i went for surgery the entire team were so professional and so caring and supportive it was brilliant. They were kind and funny and most of all completely focused on me in my hour of need. Fab. After my surgery the ongoing support from Mr Polyzois and the team has continued to be of the highest standard. Still answering my questions and helping me with my rehabilitation. Throughout the entire process from my first meeting with Mr Polyzois to my recent review i have been given all the information i needed, treated fairly and have never felt that i was not important or that there no time for me. Absolutely first class.

I saw Mr Polyzois after a fall and fractured my left shoulder in 3 places. He said that my injury was 50/50 as to whether it needed Surgery. I explained that I was a golf fanatic and surgery, which would require cutting through my shoulder muscles, would probably end my so called golf career. He agreed that he would let things heal naturally, and recommended physio which I accepted. I had a CT and. Bone density scan. Now, after about nearly 6 or 7 months, I am about 80% there. I started playing golf again and my shoulder loosened up nicely. Then Coronavirus came and my golf stopped. As golf is back on the menu, this should aid my recovery tremendously. I felt that Mr. Polyzois had my best interests at heart at all times and it has been a pleasure to have been under his care. Due to CV I was not able to have my face to face follow up consultation with him. He phoned me and we discussed my present position and he has kept my case open for the next 6 months, if I have any further problems. It has been a pleasure to have been under his care and I recommend him to the House!

After a major injury snowboarding where I tore my Pectoris Major and it needed reattaching and some haemorrhaging needed repairing, I made the right choice in Mr Polyzois. I had a meeting with him on the Tuesday and by Friday evening he was talking to me post opp. What I really appreciated was being told about each step of the process and what to expect next. I’m now 6 weeks post opp and well on the way to recovery; I have a good amount of movement back, am out of the sling and having regular sessions with the Physio arranged by My Polyzois. He’s easy to get in touch with and he’s stayed in touch through the recovery. I really cant recommend Mr Polyzois and his team more highly; thanks again for your amazing care.

I had been suffering pain and discomfort in my left shoulder for several years, in 2019 in the summer I fractured the biceps tendon in that shoulder followed by a further trauma to the same shoulder over the Christmas period. I had already had one consultation at the NHS hospital and my case was left open. Early in 2020 I telephoned the hospital to attempt to bring forward my appointment and was given a date in March 2020 for the first consultation. I decided to go down the self funding Private Consultation route. The appointments for all the diagnostic scans were arranged very swiftly and Mr Polyzois was most reassuring, professional and helpful. I was fortunate in having a reverse shoulder joint replacement. I felt Mr Polyzois was interested in my case and confident that the operation would be a success. This has proved to be correct, it will be a lengthy recovery but after 2 months I already feel the benefit. I would recommend Mr Polyzois to anyone needing his professional services.
